We claim to make a good product just that little bit better and that’s why we are the first manufacturer to develop a picture frame that meets the B1 standard.
The issue of fire safety is becoming increasingly important, particularly when it comes to the design of public buildings – and it is set to come under even closer scrutiny in future with DIN EN 13501-1. Because of this, our B1 magnetic frame is the only picture frame in the world to have been tested against the DIN 4102-1 standard for its hardly flammable quality. It means that - based on the test report - our materials will not produce burning droplets/falling material. So even today Halbe is compliant with the requirements for fire protection class B1 which will come into force from 2010 onwards for schools, local authorities and public buildings.
The B1 magnetic frame has the same clear lines and timeless design of our classic aluminium magnetic frames. And you can also choose from our top quality aluminium profiles to suit your needs. The B1 magnetic frame is available in the following profiles: Alu 6, Alu 8, Alu 12 and Alu 14 and in seven different colours - and on request in a special finish from the RAL colour chart.
