Where the magnetic force begins
To ensure high stability, the four angles are welded together in the corners. The finished sheet metal angle composite is thus brought to size with minimal tolerances and permanently connected - this guarantees longevity, even with frequent picture changes. We manufacture part of the heart of every frame in this way. Magnetic force needs a counter bearing, in this case the sheet metal angle. For decades of use without rust, the metal sheets are coated. For each of these steps we have developed and built most of the machines ourselves - a great feeling.
We are Uwe and Melanie. Every Classic frame ordered, no matter what size, starts with us. We cut the required sheet metal strips to the exact length and deburr the edges for your safety. To ensure that your frame hangs absolutely in balance later, we punch the suspension holes to the tenth. All leftover pieces are recycled.

I have been working in the company since the beginning of 1997. I became aware of the company through a job advertisement in the Rhein-Zeitung (a local newspaper) and simply tried my luck - with success. Before I came to my present department, I had previously worked at the basic element station and in the construction of the wooden frames. In my work I pay special attention to cleanliness and the accuracy of fit of a frame. Two frames that have stuck with me over the years are a LED frame and a Classic Wood 20 in oak. I find wood simply a great material.

Thanks to Dirk, I've been part of the big HALBE family since 2021. So far, I've worked in the sheet metal department, which I really enjoy. Good material quality and clean work are particularly important here. But nothing would work without good teamwork and customer satisfaction. My favorite frames are all larger than 300 x 400 mm in chrome. The best moments at work are when Uwe, the lovely boy, makes me laugh again.
