Wooden Frames
Because every wooden frame is unique
The wooden slats are sorted according to their individual characteristics so that they match perfectly in colour and grain after gluing the mitres. For a perfect mitre we check the cut edges and - if necessary - these are reworked in colour. In addition, the corners are reinforced with glued-in special steel angles. This is how a unique wooden picture frame is lovingly handcrafted.

Since joining HALBE in 2005, I have been able to get to know the work in almost all departments. Three aspects of my work have become particularly important to me: the quality of the materials used, the care and cleanliness of the work and ultimately the perfection of each individual frame, so that I would hang it on the wall myself at any time.
What makes a frame my favorite? It has to be made of wood.
We are Thomas, Christina and Bernd. Together we make your wooden frames. Wood is a wonderful, natural material. It impresses with its very own character - each one is absolutely unique.

I have been part of HALBE since 1999. I started in the wood department, which was still quite small at the time. During my time with the company, I also worked in the basic elements, glass, aluminum frame and workshop departments. I have been responsible for the timber frame department since 2010. There is no one special day for me, because every day offers something new. That's what makes it so exciting.

I've been at HALBE since August 2024 - and since then I've helped out in final assembly, with the special basic elements and in the wood department. I came to the company through a job advertisement - and I stayed because of the great team and the exciting work. Quality is my top priority.
I particularly like our wooden frames - each piece is unique due to the grain. But the aluminum frames also have their charm! A highlight every year: the Christmas parties - always a wonderful moment.
