Declaration on accessibility
HALBE-Rahmen GmbH endeavors to make its website www.halbe-rahmen.de accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) and the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsverordnung (BFSGV). This declaration on accessibility applies to the entire online offering under the aforementioned domain.
Status of accessibility
We are continuously working to make our online store and the content of HALBE Rahmen accessible and usable for all people, regardless of physical or technical limitations. Our aim is to meet the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 - Conformance Level AA.
To this end, we have integrated the "Accessibility tools" tool, which can be clicked on in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
This operating menu allows users to make various settings to customize the display and usability. The tool offers the following functions, among others
- Adjustment of font size and type
- Adjustment of the character spacing
- Contrast mode
- Highlight links
- Reading mode
- Reduce animations
- Keyboard operation
- Adjustment of the cursor
These functions are available on all subpages and work - as far as technically possible - page-wide.
Barriers that still exist
Despite all efforts, restrictions may still exist in the following areas:
- Individual dynamic components (e.g. configurator) are not yet fully optimized for screen readers.
- Not all PDF documents and product data sheets are available in an accessible format.
- Some videos do not yet have full subtitles or audio descriptions.
- Certain color elements and contrasts are currently being reviewed to further improve readability for people with visual impairments.
- Some integrated third-party plugins (e.g. YouTube, payment providers or map modules) are not completely barrier-free and are beyond our direct technical control.
We are continuously working to remove these barriers.
