From 5 February - 16 February 2018, the exhibition "Down to Earth" by photographer Denis Piel took place at the Phillips in London. The theme of this series deals with nature and sustainable living in it.

LYS - An Hommage to the Light of the North

The great photographer Walter Schels is presented to the art world for the first time by ABTART Stuttgart. Over 200 of his works will be shown, including photographs of celebrities such as Josef Beuys, Andy Warhol and the Dalai Lama, but also portraits of transsexuals, newborns, the dying, as well as people in the park and animals. The exhibition is curated by Klaus Honnef.

Bosch exhibition in Stuttgart

The Bosch photo exhibition is located on the ground floor of the new building, which was completed in 2017. The building is part of the new IT Campus Feuerbach, the headquarters of Bosch IT worldwide. The photographs are by photographer Rainer Horn and show the famous Wynwood Walls in Miama, Florida.
BFF photographer Dominik Paunetto recently exhibited his series "Chicago fog" at Dezernat 16 of Heidelberg's Creative Industries Center as part of OFF//FOTO 2017. These are black and white architectural photographs from Chicago.

MORDILLO - The Very Optimistic Pessimist

Who doesn't know them, the wordless bulbous noses that know so much to tell through facial expressions, gestures and interaction with their surroundings. Over 150 of his rarely shown originals are brought together in the exhibition at the Ludwig Galerie Schloss Oberhausen and provide an insight into the work of the internationally active artist, who has won numerous awards.

Photobastei Zurich - Miroslav Tichý

The current exhibition with around 140 works by Miroslav Tichý is on show at Photobastei Zurich until 5 November. Curator Adi Hoesle takes the visitor on a virtual journey through Tichý's hometown Kyiov.

From August 10 - September 6, 2017, the exhibition POST-TRUTH took place in New York. The photographer Sebastian Perinotti exhibited his images in HALBE frames

Illusions - abstract photographs

In colourful compositions, the boundaries between photography and abstract painting blur. The works of Dirk Schelpmeier, created by means of long time and multiple exposures, take the viewer into a non-objective, partly mystical world of images.

BFF Aufschlag 09

The 9th BFF-Aufschlag in Hamburg last weekend is over. For the first time the BBF-Aufschlag-Award for the best exhibited picture was awarded. Each certificate was framed in HALBE.

f³ - Freiraum für Fotografie Opening

With about 500 visitors, the evening of the opening on 05 April was a brilliant success. The f³ (Freiraum für Fotografie) in Berlin is a brand new initiative of the Society for Humanistic Photography with its own exhibition spaces. Five to six exhibitions of international author photography are presented. In addition, there are regular discussion events, workshops and talks with photographers.

similar, all-too-similar

The work "ähnlich, allzuähnlich" (similar, all too similar) is a collaborative and conceptual work involving ten photographers from Germany and Switzerland who specialize in art reproduction. Jürgen Meyer-Isenmann asked them to photograph his 2010 work "Unmut dem Prinzip".

Marcus Schwier. Photography

At the same time as his exhibition at Schloss Oberhausen, Marcus Schwier is exhibiting at the Museum für Gartenkunst of the Benrath Palace and Park Foundation. The title "Photography" is not meant to be grandiloquent, but rather generalist, because Schwier is dedicated to a wide range of topics.
The well-known landscape and architecture photographer Marcus Schwier is showing his work in two exhibitions at once: at Benrath Palace in Düsseldorf and at the Ludwigsgalerie Schloss Oberhausen. The latter is showing the exhibition "Let's buy it! Art and Shopping".

Manfred Koch - Impressions of some exhibitions

In recent years, the photos of photographer Manfred Koch have been shown at several individual exhibitions in Germany and abroad. In 2014 he was appointed to the German Photographic Association (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photografie). Some of the photos of his recent exhibition can be seen here. His last show in Graz was called "Von anderen Stätten".
The artistic work "Deutschland Reiseatlas 2014/2015, 1:200 000" by Miki Lin is comprised of a total of 106 DIN A3 drawings framed in white Alu Distance magnetic frames. What's interesting is the graphic process of abstraction of the river names but also the way the frames are hung. Close together, side by side and on top of each other the individual frames create a large map of Germany constructed by river names.

SHOW & ORDER - Interior and product design

The new trade show format SHOW & ORDER features two photos by Berlin photographer Daniel Reiter from his latest exhibition. Framed by Halbe Rahmen the photos are perfectly integrated into the concept of the exhibitors.

"Flowers" at Gallery 206

As of today, the beautiful flower photographs from the series "Flowers" by photographer Silke Lauffs can be viewed in the GALERIE 206 in Berlin. They are framed in HALBE magnetic frames.
An independant cultural institute In Innsbruck, Austria, that calls itself "The Bakery"(Die Bäckerei), exhibits ocean pictures by photographer David Steinbacher. They are part of a series of 1200x1200mm ocean pictures aptly presented in timeless, simple Halbe frames.

The Trinity

The exhibition The Trinity is running at The Institute at the Holzmarkt in Berlin until 30 October 2016. Founded by Gavin Evans, the current exhibition shows photos by the late David Bowie, Iggy Pop, and Nick Cave.

Quo vadis, world? Reflections and Utopia

Up until April 17th, the House of Photography at the Deichtorhallen will present an incredibly diverse and exciting range of works by nine current prizewinners.
The exhibition "The Artist as Photographer. Ernst Ludwig Kirchner's photographic work" runs until 1 May at the Kirchner Museum Davos. The primary focus is on the famous Expressionist's glass plate and cellulose negatives from the years 1908-1938.
The annual exhibition BFF Triebwerk of the BFF Berlin took place from October 8 - November 7, 2015 as part of the "Designmeile Berlin" at Bikini Berlin on almost 800 m². Extraordinary photographs by 54 photographers in equally extraordinary spaces.
The photographic series RIVALIS by Stefan Stößel is now on display in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig.
A small exhibition of works by J. Konrad Schmidt is currently on display at the Louvre, Paris.

Seventh BFF Impact in Hamburg

From 21 - 23 May 2015 HALBE was at a special exhibition venue, the parking deck of the Rindermarkthalle in St.Pauli. There met for the seventh time one of the most renowned photographers association - the BFF (professional association of freelance photographers and film designers) from the Hamburg region and other guests from Berlin.

Abstract watercolours by Ingrid Krüger
