NOOR by NOOR - International award-winning photography reportage
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Amsterdam agency NOOR - light in Arabic - the exhibition NOOR by NOOR presents for the first time in Germany a unique photography collective of the most significant political and social developments of the past 10 years.
The introductory picture shows the photographs of the recently deceased documentary photographer Stanley Greene in magnetic frames from HALBE-frames. The images are viewed by Tom Maasen, Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
NOOR & Photographers
NOOR represents 13 of the world's most renowned documentary photographers, whose work is published in major newspapers and magazines. Among them are the New York Times Magazine, Newsweek, Le Monde, National Geographic and Stern. The photographers report at the highest personal risk from war and crisis zones, the fight for equal rights for women, the effects of climate change, modern slavery and racial discrimination worldwide. In this way, they bring us close to the most pressing issues of our time in an aesthetically outstanding visual language.
