Special edition: matt gold anodized Classic magnetic frame by HALBE
Kirchen, November 12, 2018 - Gold is not just a metal - in the past it was a symbol of wealth and power, today it is an expression of style and elegance. Gold-colored furniture and accessories look classy and give off an air of luxury. Many designers and interior decorators rely on the trend colour gold, as it can be perfectly combined with various styles, colours and materials. Reason enough for a limited "Gold Edition" from HALBE (www.HALBE-rahmen.de) with a discreet matt aluminium surface, up to a size of 70 x 100 cm. Available from 22 November 2018.
Furnishing with gold is trendy
After its grand appearance in the twenties, sixties and seventies, the luxury metal gold is experiencing a revival. At the international interior fairs, more and more designers are presenting lamps, tables, cabinets but also accessories with gold elements. The shimmering warmth emanating from colour gold is reflected in the interior. Golden picture frames and mirrors spread a touch of luxury, are timelessly beautiful and set stylish accents. However, in order to show it off to its best advantage, the right dosage and placement is important, because too much gold quickly comes across as kitschy. Shiny gold furniture and accessories are year-round classics, even if they are kept to a minimum in the living room.
Gold: A true multi-talent
The colour Gold is considered synonymous with the best and is not only clean and classy, it harmonizes with many materials and colours. Matt gold elements subtly enhance light fabrics such as velvet or silk. In combination with pink or rose-coloured details, it looks delicate and fresh. With dark tones, gold exudes a luxurious atmosphere. With black and white it forms a fantastic contrast and transforms the home into a place with character. Gold is jewellery for the room and underlines the different styles.
Perfect staging of pictures
Basically, three factors are important when it comes to framing: What should be framed? Where should it hang? And what is the personal taste? The possibilities for presenting pictures are as versatile as the pictures themselves. There are many details to consider when choosing the right frame. The picture frame should never compete with the picture. It is both "stage and body" for the picture. A precious metal coloured frame enhances a photo, watercolour but also a lithograph or sketch. A light-looking, bright picture is quickly smothered if the moulding is too massive. A narrow golden frame profile is timelessly beautiful and sets off the work of art anywhere in the home with an "aha effect".
