Delivery information

HALBE Delivery: Small goods via parcel service, large goods via logistics service.

Everyone knows this: You’ve ordered something online and either you’re not home when the package is delivered or you’ve just missed the carrier. Help us get your order delivered quickly and safely! The shipping costs can be found at www.halbe-rahmen.de/en/payment-and-dispatch. On this page, we also provide you with additional information on the delivery of your goods after shipping and to fast delivery services, which you can still postpone after you receive your order confirmation for deliveries within Germany (without islands) in order to shorten the transport period. The duration of the transport mentioned below at the respective transport service provider is included in the delivery time, which is stated for the respective product.

We select the most suitable transport service provider for your order depending on the goods you have ordered and the delivery address.

After conclusion of the contract (or, with agreed deposit payments once the money has been transferred) shipping your order takes 6 to 8 days within Germany and 8 to 10 days for deliveries abroad – insofar the respective offer does not state any other deadline. Please note that there is no delivery on Sundays and public holidays. If you have ordered items with differing delivery times we combine all items into one joint shipment, unless agreed otherwise. In this case, the delivery depends on the item with the longest delivery period.

Deliveries by parcel service: Germany and other European countries.

Our parcel shipping with GLS and DPD is climate neutral. Minimal packaging volume, custom-made shipping packaging reduces transport volume and the use of packaging and cushioning material. Our cardboard boxes used are made of recycled paper and we produce the filling material ourselves.

 

 

Goods are delivered one or two days after the shipping date. For a guaranteed parcel delivery the following day (Mon-Fri), HALBE can also arrange an overnight service "Garantie24" for an additional charge upon receipt of the order confirmation. 

Depending on the shipment status, you can also track the delivery of your order online. After shipment, choose from the following FlexDeliveryService options on the GLS website:

- Pick desired delivery date (up to 6 days from shipping date)
- Change delivery address (Options are shown in the tracking link)
- Delivery to your preferred parcel shop or GLS depot (Shop-search)
- Grant of a delivery permit (parcel-related and permanent possible)
- Use GLS App (view info)

If you don’t wish to use any of these options, your order will be delivered to your delivery address. If the driver cannot reach you, he or she leaves a notification card in your mailbox with information on where the parcel was delivered, either with a neighbour or at a nearby GLS PaketShop. 

Besides standard delivery via GLS parcel service, you can also book the following services for an additional fee:

GLS Garantie24 = € 7.90 inkl. VAT (€ 6.64 plus VAT):
Guaranteed delivery one day after the shipping date during the course of the day (in German excluding islands, Mon-Fri).

GLS Fixed Date Delivery: GLS Garantie24 plus guaranteed delivery before 10 am or 12 pm = on request, depending on the scope of your order.

 

DPD

Delivery within Germany takes place one to two days after the day of dispatch. If you would like guaranteed delivery of the parcel on the following working day (Mon-Fri), you can use the overnight service "DPD Express" for an additional charge after receipt of your order confirmation.  

Depending on the shipment status, you can still have an influence on the delivery of your parcel online after it has been dispatched. DPD Tracking offers you the following options for your parcel after dispatch:

- Pick desired delivery date (Options are shown in the tracking link)
- Change delivery adress (Options are shown in the tracking link)
- Delivery to your preferred DPD parcel shop (Shop-search)
Grant of a delivery permit (parcel-related and permanent possible)
- Use DPD App (view info)
- DPD Predict and Live-Tracking (Real-time tracking information)

If you do not use any of these options, the delivery attempt will be made to your delivery address. If the driver does not meet you there, he will leave a parcel information card in your letterbox. By scanning the QR code or entering the parcel number, you can find out where the parcel is at the moment and what options there are for rerouting and receiving the parcel.  

In addition to the standard shipment by DPD parcel service, you can optionally book the following services for an additional charge within Germany from HALBE Customer Service:

DPD Express = € 7.90 inkl. VAT (€ 6.64 plus VAT):
Guaranteed delivery one day after the shipping date during the course of the day (in German excluding islands, Mon-Fri).

DPD time-of-day-delivery: like DPD Express, but with the additional guarantee of delivery before 8.30 a.m., 10 a.m. or 12 p.m. = on request, depending on the goods you have ordered and the delivery area.

 

Deliveries by freight forwarder: Germany and other European countries.

 

For larger quantities or formats from approx. 700 x 900 mm, due to size and weight your goods are delivered with Cargoline Logistics. Delivery within Germany takes one to three days after the day of dispatch, internationally the transport time varies depending on the country and is usually three to five days.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DELIVERY BY FREIGHT FORWARDING?

WHEN DOES THE DELIVERY TAKE PLACE?
Within Germany, delivery takes place one to three days after the shipping date. Internationally, the transport time varies depending on the country and is usually three to five days. Delivery can take place from Monday to Friday in the time from approx. 08:00-17:00 - Saturday delivery is not possible.

WHAT IS THE DELIVERY PROCEDURE?
As soon as your shipment is ready for dispatch, you will receive a dispatch notification from us including a tracking link. This link will be activated in the course of 24h, so that you can track your shipment. ATTENTION: Unlike the parcel service, you can’t give drop off permission or select a desired delivery day for freight forwarding deliveries. A prior, telephone announcement is also not made automatically for deliveries by freight forwarding! If you would like to coordinate the delivery of your shipment with the freight forwarder, i.e. arrange an exact day and a time window (min. 4 hours), please inform your HALBE contact person when/after placing your order or generally contact info@halbe.de or phone: +49 (0) 2741-95800. For the notification, we need a phone number in addition to your e-mail address, which we forward to the shipping service provider in order to be able to set up a coordination by phone, SMS or e-mail.

WHAT DOES "FREE CURBSIDE" MEAN?
Shipments by freight forwarding are usually large and heavy and are delivered "free curbside". Depending on local conditions, the goods are unloaded and made available for you at the roadside or sidewalk. Often it is also possible to unload on site to the front door, in a garage or similar, but this is at the discretion scope of the driver and can only be decided individually on site. Carrying package or pallet/s into a building or unpacking the goods and/or disposing of the packaging is not part of the standard services of the freight forwarder. This comfort service can be booked in addition after arrangement and for an extra charge. Please contact your HALBE contact person for this.

DELIVERY WAS NOT POSSIBLE?
Please ensure that the goods can be received on the (agreed) delivery day. Furthermore, the specified delivery address must be accessible by truck. If there are any restrictions (e.g. pedestrian zone), please contact your HALBE contact person in good time. If the goods can‘t be delivered, there will always be additional costs for a further delivery, which may be charged to you.

TRANSPORT DAMAGE?
Of course, we always do our best to pack your order safely and stably - however, damage during transport cannot be avoided 100%. Therefore, it is important that you check the following upon receipt of your shipment:

- Is the package externally in perfect condition?
- Are there any broken pieces? Broken glass? (hidden transport damage)
- Is the number of packages correct?

Should you notice any damage:

1. Note the damage on the waybill and have it confirmed by the driver.
2. If the entire shipment is damaged, refuse to accept it.
3. If only a part of the shipment is damaged, accept the shipment despite the damage.
4. Contact your HALBE contact person in order to coordinate the further procedure with regard to the complaint and replacement delivery process.


In addition to standard shipping, you can also book an express delivery within Germany from HALBE Customer Service for an additional charge:

Delivery usually one working day after dispatch (Monday to Friday, during the day)

Self-Collection

Your goods will be ready for self-collection at our plant. You will receive a pick-up notification email as soon as your order is complete. Self-collection times are from Monday to Friday between 8am and 4.30pm.

Please note: Your order has been carefully packaged in storage packaging. If you wish to have it collected as palletized goods through a logistics service, please let us know with your order. 

Your HALBE contact can advise you on possible packaging costs and all logistics issues.

 

Import fees

When importing the goods into Switzerland, Lichtenstein and Norway, in addition to the applicable import sales tax, fees will be charged by the respective Shipping Service Provider.

Freight forwarder:
Presentation commission: 3% of the import sales tax amount.(not applicable if payment is made within the payment date)*
Handling fee: 35,00 CHF / 400 NOK*
Postage/Papers: 5,33 CHF / 60 NOK*

Parcel service:
Import Administration: 10 CHF / 120 NOK*
Presentation commission: Min. 10CHF / 120 NOK otherwise 2% of the import VAT amount*
