This is the easiest and classiest way to mount your picture. The picture has the same dimensions as the picture frame and the glass lies directly on the object. It is not without reason that this type of picture mounting has always been popular: The framing is child's play and always succeeds. All you need is your picture and a picture frame that fits exactly. Your picture has a special size for which you cannot find a suitable frame? No problem. This type of mounting is suitable for:
This type of mounting is ideal for flat paper work with an insensitive surface. This includes, for example, prints, photos and certificates, as well as posters that do not have any special conservation requirements.
This type of mounting is not suitable for:
The mounting method is not ideal for corrugated paper, 3D objects, images with uneven colour application (e.g. oil paintings on cardboard), pastels and charcoal drawings. These works have a particularly sensitive surface and are originals worth protecting.
Here's how it works:
1. Prepare
Open the frame and place everything within easy reach next to the picture frame.
2. Insert
Insert your picture into the basic element. Tip: It is best to hold and lift the paper diagonally to avoid creases in the paper.
3. Check
Check whether your image is within the overhang of the sheet metal.
7. Put on the frame
Put the upper frame back on and press it down lightly. Thanks to the HALBE magnetic frame principle, the picture frame closes quickly and easily.
8. Ready
Now look at your finished artwork and be inspired by the simple but stylish way of framing your picture.
4. Clean
Use the hand brush to carefully remove dust and debris from your image.
5. Insert glass
Now place the glass on the basic element again.
6. Clean
Use the cleaning cloth to remove dust and fingerprints from the glass pane.
