Set of 2 "XL" heavy-duty hooks, for hanging large formats
Heavy-duty hooks specially developed for the secure hanging of large HALBE magnetic frames. The steel hooks are screwed to the wall with several screws and the magnetic frame is suspended from its outer suspension holes. The hooks are used when the load capacity of two individual screws is no longer sufficient to hold the frame securely.
Note: It is essential to use the suspension holes on the vertical sheet metal angles of the base element. These have a much higher load-bearing capacity than the suspension holes in the horizontal angles and leave enough space for the heavy-duty hooks.
Supplied as a set of 2, each 1 x left and 1 x right
Plugs and screws are not included in delivery
Dimensions, base plate without hook: 64 x 46 x 2 mm
Colour: light grey, powder-coated
Important: Please note not only the frame but also the weight of your object. Please check the load capacity of the screws and plugs used in your wall using the load tables of the manufacturers. Please check the condition and possible load capacity.
Example: Frames over 1200 x 1400 mm are supplied exclusively with acrylic glass for weight and stability reasons. Frame with 3 mm acrylic glass without picture weigh approx. 9 kg/m². For example, a picture frame in a size of 1200 x 2000mm weighs approx. 21.6 kg. If this frame is hung on a plasterboard wall, for example, the load limit of a screw can already be exceeded. Then the load must be divided over several screws.
