mariART Gallery
The Gallery mariART in Wiesbaden sees itself as a vibrant venue for contemporary art with attitude. Founded with the aim of showcasing relevant artistic positions, mariART exhibits works by emerging and established artists whose work is characterized by conceptual depth, aesthetic independence, and social relevance.
The gallery focuses on painting, drawing, and interdisciplinary works that often explore the boundaries between art, science, and personal reflection. With changing exhibitions, trade fair participation, and publications, mariART not only promotes the reception of the artists on display, but also invites open dialogue between art and the public.
The gallery's aim is not only to present art, but also to focus on its transformative power—as a mirror of the present, as critical commentary, as poetic disruption. In an open, respectful atmosphere, mariART offers space for discovery, conversation, and new perspectives.

About the artist
Lena Müller embarks on an artistic and philosophical journey of discovery with her work. She draws inspiration from scientific questions ranging from the microcosm of microorganisms to the vastness of the universe. In doing so, she poses fundamental questions about time, origin, and the position of humans in the cosmos—in a manner that is equally impressive both visually and intellectually.
Used frames
Wood 10, alder was deliberately chosen as a frame because its material and color give it a warm, natural look. The decision to use a uniform material creates a visual connection between the framed works and ensures a calm, balanced overall effect. The understated design of the frames does not distract from the content of the pictures, but rather supports it discreetly. In combination with a white mat, clear contrasts are created that show each individual work to its best advantage. In this way, the pictures retain their individuality, but at the same time are linked by the common framing.

The exhibition AESTHETICS OF ORDER can be seen in Wiesbaden until August 16, 2025.
