Hideyuki Ishibashi Bigaignon, Paris
The Bigaignon Gallery presented a selection of 50 exceptional prints in Hideyuki Ishibashi's solo exhibition entitled “Portraits.” This work visually reconstructs a story: that of a pottery workshop in Kyoto, a craft passed down through generations, but also that of a group of schoolgirls whose story could have remained buried forever. Their portrait lies in the unmistakable uniqueness of each bowl.
