Colors, blurriness and depth beyond reality
Gallery Klüber presented works by Kirk Sora at the Discovery Art Fair in Cologne from April 25 to 28, 2024. His colorful, abstract photographs use blurring and black backgrounds to transport viewers into a world beyond reality and make them forget everyday life.
About the artist Kirk Sora
Kirk Sora, born in Celle in 1976, studied at the Dresden University of Fine Arts from 1998 to 2003. From 2003 to 2005, he deepened his training as a master student of Hans Peter Adamski. Today, the German photographer lives and works in the Berlin area. His works have been presented in numerous international exhibitions and are part of national public collections.
Kirk Sora's works are not documentations of reality, but independently constructed pictorial worlds. Sunlight plays a central role here - not only as a means of illumination, but also as a carrier of information and a constant source of inspiration.
