In winter 2022/23, the exhibition “Fashion” was already shown at the FOAM Museum in Amsterdam, where HALBE frames were also used to present the works of art. For more information and a deeper insight into this exhibition, we invite you to read our blog post.
Kooiker's artistic practice is characterized by unconventional methods. Many of his still lifes are created exclusively with an iPhone, which gives his photographs a spontaneous and intimate feel. As one of the most sought-after fashion photographers of the present day, his departure from conventional ideals of beauty clearly sets him apart from the crowd.
HALBE picture frames in action
Picture frames from HALBE-Rahmen were used for the presentation of the works of art in the Parrotta Gallery. These are DISTANCE 10 frames with an aluminum 8 profile in glossy chrome. Equipped with high-quality museum glass and integrated UV protection, these frames protect the photographs from fading
The distance between the picture and the glass gives the photographs additional spatial depth, making the motifs stand out even more impressively. The shiny chrome frame creates a striking contrast to the black and white photographs and emphasizes their aesthetic effect in an impressive way.
