The magic of everyday life
From April 20 to June 30, 2024, the Reutlingen Natural History Museum presented the exhibition “Rhythm of Nature” by award-winning photographer Sandra Bartocha. Her impressive images capture the magic of the everyday - dancing light, tranquil cloud formations and delicate flower structures. Bartocha's photographs show the essence of the moment and the constant change of nature in harmonious cycles.
In “Rhythm of Nature”, Sandra Bartocha presents her photographic work from over a decade, with motifs from her native Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. For Bartocha, it is not the location that is decisive, but the atmosphere and the moment. She is a master at capturing the changing seasons, the interplay of light and shadow and the subtleties of nature in her pictures.

Instead of exotic locations, she shows the beauty of everyday landscapes - wide fields, flowering meadows, tranquil lakes and ancient forests. Her pictures convey the invisible: the feelings of a moment in nature, which become almost tangible through her photographs.
