The exhibition

This year, Frankfurt photographer Ursula Edelmann celebrates her 95th birthday. Since June 16, visitors to the KunstRaum Bernusstraße can experience the artist's life's work anew. The exhibition was curated by Rudi Feuser and Stefanie Wetzel, photographers and operators of the Pangallery Frankfurt.

More about the exhibition can be found here .

The photographer

Edelmann accompanied the reconstruction of Frankfurt after the war from 1949 onwards. She photographed exhibits such as sculptures and paintings for various museums, and also artfully documented the technical progress of the post-war period with striking photographs of machines. The photographer's life's work is impressive, and the exhibition sheds new light on Ursula Edelmann's inspiring work.

The frames

Such a variety of photographs also needs very different frames to show them off to their best advantage. For this reason, the photographs have been framed in a wide variety of picture frames from HALBE and placed on the wall in very different compositions. The mix of light and dark wooden frames and silver aluminium frames creates some dynamic. The white passepartouts together with the monochrome photographs, however, provide the necessary harmony, so that overall a balanced and inspiring exhibition has been created.

In the exhibition, our CLASSIC magnetic frames in Wood 10 and Aluminium 8 were used with Mirogard® Plus glass, which protects works from UV radiation.
