Which shipping companies do we cooperate with?
Our picture frames are delivered by different service providers.
The first option is delivery by parcel service. The goods are shipped either by GLS or DPD, both of which ship climate neutrally. Delivery can usually be expected one to two days after the shipping date, but this is not guaranteed.
The second option is delivery by a forwarding company. Here we use the logistics partner Cargoline. Your frames will be delivered within one to three working days after the day of shipment. If your order is delivered by a forwarding company, you must be prepared for the fact that the goods will not be brought to your living room: as a standard, forwarding companies only deliver "free curbside", which means that you must accept the delivery from the forwarding agent and transport it from there to your own four walls yourself.
If you are often not present at your delivery address on weekdays, please feel free to let us know your phone number after receiving the order confirmation. The forwarding company will contact you in advance of the delivery and set up an appointment for the delivery of the goods.
Is express delivery possible?
If you wish to have the goods delivered as quickly as possible, you have the option of booking a special service with both DPD and GLS for an additional charge of 7.90 euros. This guarantees the delivery of the order during the working day after the shipping day.
Even if your delivery comes by a forwarding company, there is the possibility to book special services in addition. For 19,90 euros Cargoline will deliver your goods within one or two working days after the shipping day. Unfortunately, an "overnight delivery" cannot be guaranteed nationwide at the moment.
If you would like to have one of the special services mentioned above, you cannot book it online when completing your order. In this case, simply contact the HALBE customer service. If possible, please have your order number from the online store ready.
When will my order be shipped by parcel service and when by freight forwarding?
The way in which your ordered frames find their way to your home depends on several factors: Frames whose dimensions do not exceed 700 x 900 mm will be sent by parcel service, provided the number of pieces is not too high and the weight of 30kg is not exceeded. If the size of the ordered frame exceeds the above-mentioned dimensions, the frame will be sent as bulky goods by a forwarding agent. In the case of larger quantities, we reserve the right to pack the order on a pallet due to its size and weight and to also send it by forwarding agent. How are the frames packed?
To ensure that your order arrives undamaged, we pack each frame individually in a resealable format box.
If your order does not include a large number of pieces, the frames packed in the format box are additionally packed in a custom-made shipping box at the end.
However, if it is a larger order, your individually packed frames will be packed in pallet boxes on half pallets or Euro pallets. In this case, the delivery is made by a forwarding agent.
To which countries does HALBE deliver?
We deliver our goods within Germany as well as to the following other countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy without islands, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain without islands, Sweden, Switzerland..
Unfortunately, all islands outside Germany are excluded from delivery, but on request, delivery can be made possible for an additional charge, depending on the case. When shipping to foreign countries, you must expect slightly longer delivery times.

Why GLS and DPD?
Why do we ship by GLS and DPD and not by DHL? The reason is the larger possible package dimensions of GLS and DPD compared to DHL. With DHL, the maximum allowable package width is 600mm, which means that only small frames up to 500mm wide can be shipped. GLS and DPD transport frames up to 700mm width. A big advantage. In our experience, the quality and reliability of the three major service providers is the same. The difference makes if, the particular driver who brings you your package.
