The winners of the New BFF Promotion Award
On May 22, the Professional Association of Freelance Photographers and Film Designers e. V. traditionally awarded the three winners of the New BFF Promotion Prize as part of the environmental photography festival "Horizons zingst" in Zingst. The motto of the competition, "And then everything was blue," gave the up-and-coming photographers the chance to provide food for thought on how to look at our immediate surroundings.

Die drei Preise gingen gleichrangig an Lilli Emilia Nass für „cursare“ (Mentor Maximilian König), Marvin Dreblow für „Naturzustand“ (Mentor Jörg Rothaar) und Anja Segermann für „who cares“ (Mentor Bernd Opitz). Alle 13 realisierten Fotokonzepte der Finalisten können nach der Preisverleihung, in einer Ausstellung, noch bis 29. Mai in der alten Turnhalle besichtigt werden. „Die entstandenen Arbeiten sind ein exzellentes Spiegelbild gegenwärtiger fotografischer Strömungen. Sie dokumentieren und interpretieren, wie sich Gesellschaft und Kultur angesichts der Herausforderungen der Gegenwart verändern. Bedingt durch die Pandemie haben die Teilnehmer mehrheitlich Themen und Motive in ihrer Nähe gesucht – und gestatten teils sehr intime Einblicke“, sagte Alexandra Lechner, BFF-Vorstandssprecherin.
