Money gifts chicly presented in picture frame

A new take on the classic: Beautifully packaged in a frame or draped in a fun motif, money gifts become a real eye-catcher. The possibilities are endless. We'll give you a few ideas on how you can create individual money gifts. The perfect gift for spontaneous occasions or for someone who simply has everything.

Heart motif for the best friend

Women love playful gifts and the heart is one of the most popular motifs for birthdays. A large frame, a white sheet of paper with a cut-out in the shape of a heart and backed pink 10 euro notes - and you have everything you need for a gift that enchants just by looking at it. Here's how it works:

  1. Get yourself a large picture frame, at least A4 size.
  2. Take a white sheet of paper and cut it to the size of the frame.
  3. Now cut out a large hole in the shape of a heart. The upper part should be large enough to fit two 10-euro notes side by side.
  4. Place the 10-euro notes in the frame. There should be no space between the notes. Now place the sheet with the heart shape on the notes so that they fill the cut-out.
  5. Result: The notes form a beautiful pink heart with the cut-out shape.

Tip: The gift becomes even more personal if you handwrite a congratulation or a nice saying on the paper next to the heart.

18th Birthday

An injection of cash for your 18th birthday can never hurt. Many dream of getting their driver's license or their first car. So it's a fitting idea to arrange your gift of money in a picture frame with a homemade parking disc. Instead of the time, the money is then displayed in the small window of the parking disc. If you want to copy this idea, simply follow the steps below:

  1. You will need a picture frame in A4 format, a white sheet of paper in a suitable size, dark blue cardboard, a permanent marker, a white or silver pen for writing, scissors and a banknote of your choice.
  2. Cut out the shape of a parking disc from the cardboard in duplicate (for the front and back). Tip: Use a real parking disc as a template. Place it on the cardboard and trace the outlines to get the perfect shape.
  3. Cut the window for the turntable in the front of the parking disc and draw the pointed triangle and the P with a black permanent marker. If you like, you can also write a little congratulations on it.
  4. Glue the front and back together at the edges to make a parking disc. However, leave out the bottom edge.
  5. Slide the bill through the bottom edge into the parking disc so that it can be seen through the window.
  6. Drape the parking disc together with the white sheet of paper as a backing in the picture frame. This way you have an original 18th birthday money gift that the birthday boy or girl will surely be happy about!

For round birthdays

Is someone in your family or circle of friends celebrating a milestone birthday? Then surprise them with an imaginative gift of money in a picture frame. Who doesn't love balloons and lots of little presents? You can make balloons out of crepe and packets of banknotes in a fancy picture frame and connect them with a cord. For this you just need a picture frame, crepe paper in different colours, glue or scotch tape, a cord as well as different banknotes, a simple sheet of paper for the background and deco numbers for the appropriate age. Proceed as follows:

  1. Cut out small balloons from the crepe paper or form small crepe rosettes.
  2. Glue these onto the sheet of paper that will be the background of the motif.
Tip: If a white sheet of paper is too plain for you, you can paint a background or choose a coloured sheet.
  3. Now shape the bills into small rectangles that look like gift packages. Tie them each with the cord like real gifts. Now tie the gifts and balloons together with the string so that it looks like the gifts are hanging from the balloons.
  4. Fix the ribbons with glue and, if necessary, attach the money packets to the paper with Sellotape.
  5. Now place your little work of art in the picture frame.
  6. On the outside of the frame, you can now stick on the decorative numbers of the corresponding age. This creates an all-round perfect and individual gift.
