The German Design Award 2015
HALBE is delighted to receive the German Design Award: the award ceremony took place at the Ambiente consumer goods fair in Frankfurt
The Conservo magnetic frame, awarded in the competition category Home and Decoration, was developed for the special needs of restorers and museums and has an absolutely chemical-free and recyclable interior.
The picture frame has an invisible picture lock, height-adjustable wall spacers, angled punched holes for horizontal compensation in the case of non-horizontal suspension points, a variable insertion depth for works of art in different material thicknesses as well as an inlay frame as a spacer to the glass. Customer-specific requirements for professional framing are also implemented with precision and attention to detail in the HALBE factory.
The German Design Award is the international premium prize of the German Design Council. It honours top-class products and projects from the fields of product and communication design, design personalities and up-and-coming designers, all of whom are in their own way groundbreaking in the German and international design landscape.
