Take a look at our new cardboard!

When it comes to the color selection for the frame and passepartout, the choice of cardboard is usually one of our three white shades. In addition to these classics and a black material, there is now a new, light gray shade for cartons at HALBE.

What makes the new grey so exciting? The passepartout or a backboard in a frame serves as a design element and, in addition to the actual frame, is the demarcation between the picture and its surroundings. The most impressive thing about the new gray tone: The color tone is light gray, neutral, light, without any color cast. Similar to white paper, it matches almost all color tones and is excellently compatible with black and white. The light gray cardboard draws a clear border around the picture and focuses the eye - without coming loudly to the fore.

It is not for nothing that uncolored gray in all its forms is one of the most popular colors for designing surfaces in the areas of living and architecture. Try it out and test the museum cardboard in the new grey instead of a white passepartouts or as a background cardboard to put on - you will be thrilled.

In the frame configurator you can freely define your frames and in the 3D preview you can see the interaction of the colors. And if you upload your picture as a file, you can see the finished frame on the screen from all sides and take the framed picture virtually in your hand, so to speak, before you order it.

P.S.: The old, much darker shade of grey is no longer available (see comparison picture above). Please contact us for small remaining stocks.
