Evelyn Richter: "Development miracle human being"

At Paris Photo 2023, the LOOCK Gallery presented a solo exhibition by the renowned East German photographer Evelyn Richter entitled "Entwicklungswunder Mensch" ("Development miracle human being"). Richter's extraordinary gift for capturing the moment has enabled her to document the essence of East German society in a unique way and record it for future generations. She prefers to take her photographs almost exclusively in black and white. The impressive photographs were presented in picture frames by HALBE.
