What can corrugated cardboard do?

Would you like to use your magnetic frames as variably as possible in terms of insertion depth? Then order your frames with increased insertion depth and optionally fill the space inside the frame with a light and stable corrugated cardboard.

The corrugated cardboard, from KLUG-Conservation in natural white, meets the highest conservation requirements and is versatile. Especially to fill up a high insertion depth, a corrugated cardboard is recommended. With a choice of 5 mm or 6.6 mm, this offers considerably more thickness than the 0.75 mm, 1.5 mm or 3 mm thick background cardboard. The material is used as standard for the CONSERVO, CONSERVO-DISTANCE and Protect magnetic frame from HALBE. When cut to size, corrugated cardboard also increases flexibility in the use of our magnetic frames. For example, you can temporarily remove the 5 mm high insert frame D5 or the 5 mm high spacer bar on the CONSERVO-DISTANCE and use corrugated cardboard to fill the interior instead. In conservation picture framing or for professional archival purposes, the material is extremely popular because of its properties. Especially for temporary exhibitions, it is important to bear in mind: The greater the insertion depth, the more variable the possible uses of the frame.
