The perfect way to use a picture frame as a door sign
Our magnetic frames can be used individually, even outside your own four walls, for example as a door sign. To protect the frames from theft, we have developed various picture security systems that protect the pictures, but also the frame itself, from theft.

In this case, the picture lock BS3 is particularly recommended for smaller door signs. This allows you to secure the frame to the wall using screws and thus protect it from theft. The picture lock also ensures that the frame does not slip and remains fixed in the desired position. Nevertheless, thanks to the magnetic frame system, the picture lock BS3 does not stand in the way of a quick exchange of the pictures.
One example where our HALBE frames were used as door signs is the Kleusberg company. Here, a HALBE frame was mounted in front of the individual offices, serving as a door sign and making it easier to find your way around within the company. Uniform look in the office
Pictures framed in HALBE frames also create a more pleasant working atmosphere inside the offices. For a uniform look, the picture frames can of course be ordered in the same style as the door signs.
Can also be used as a wayfinding system
Our frames can be used flexibly, not only as door signs, but also as wayfinding systems. The Münzing architectural office has developed a new wayfinding system for the ZF Forum in Friedrichshafen, which ensures easy orientation in the building.
The advantage: thanks to the HALBE magnetic frame principle, the door signs can be easily and flexibly replaced as needed.
As orientation system in old people's home
Another example of how our frames with picture lock are used in everyday life is the Hofmatt retirement and nursing home. Here, an orientation system for the home was created according to the designs of the Neeser and Müller office in Basel.
Three solid wood magnetic frames can be admired in front of each resident's room door: one of the magnetic frames holds a special wooden sign with laser engraving indicating the room number, the second frame holds a sign with the resident's name, and the last frame gives each resident the opportunity to have his or her favorite photo framed.
In this way, the nursing home could be given an individual touch and the corridors could be made more lively. In addition, the own room can be recognized and found faster.
