"Displacements" in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Siegen

Every day, numerous picture frames pass through the hands of our employees. Each of them knows the individual components and their delivery condition. We know who receives the frames and where they go. But we rarely know how the frame works in the room with the art.

On April 22nd, the Museum für Gegenwartskunst (museum for contemporary art) gave us an insight into the exhibition Verlagerungen (Displacements) by Max Becher and his wife Andrea Robbins in the course of a staff tour. Mrs. Puck and Mrs. Rüttinger told us a lot about the pictures and their origins. Afterwards, it was possible to exchange the most varied impressions over a joint dinner.
