... drawings from classicism to art nouveau

Until 15 September 2013 the Augustiner Museum Freiburg features a superb selection of some 150 nineteenth-century drawings from its own collection. The successful exhibition, which was positively reviewed by local and national newspapers (FAZ, 9 August 2013), shows works by Joseph Anton Koch, Carl Spitzweg, Anselm Feuerbach, Hans Thoma, and many more. The exhibits are presented in solid wood HALBE magnetic frames. The frame was specially produced by solid wood, to meet the requirements of the Augustiner Museum. The massive oak magnetic frames by HALBE emphasize the individual wood structure to make each frame unique. In front of the coloured walls of the exhibition cubes, the effect of the picture frames is further enhanced and contribute greatly to the overall impact. The following pictures give you an impression of the current exhibition!
