White Distance Frames for pale motifs
Nature photographer Martin Stock knows this, too. He had his photographs of the Icelandic winter, taken in February 2020, printed by IB Gosch and framed in HALBE Distance frames Maple 10 White. The results are impressive: In the two minimalistically designed pictures, Martin Stock interprets the barrenness of the landscape. In one picture, the hard steel blue on the horizon stands against the clear, white mountain panorama, and in the other one, the diagonal lines of the mountain ridges create a strong contrast.
The white distance frames show the artworks to their best advantage without the white areas getting lost in the picture frame. The distance with which the photo is mounted on the cardboard clearly emphasizes the motif.
