Picture lock BS 1
The profile frame is fixed to the side of the base unit with four discreet small screws and thus securely closed. Ideally, the screws are positioned at the top and bottom of the hanging frame to remain invisible. The screws can only be removed with an Allen key, which is included in the scope of delivery. As the picture lock is integrated in the frame, it can be selected via the frame configurator.

Picture lock BS 1 R
The invisible further development of the BS 1. Instead of using side screws, the overframe is fixed to the base unit with four bolts. These are locked by means of washers on the back and can also be fixed in the locked position with a screw. This locking mechanism is available for CONSERVO and CONSERVO-DISTANCE and can be added when ordering.

To protect the frame from being removed
It is not only important to prevent unauthorized opening, but also to secure the frame to the wall. The frame is secured to the wall with picture locks BS 3 and BS 4 to prevent unauthorized removal or unintentional bumping and falling of the frame.
Picture lock BS 3
Here, the base unit is screwed firmly to the wall through the back panel. The frame is thus absolutely securely connected to the wall. The disadvantage: the picture and glass must be fitted to the wall. We therefore recommend the BS 3 for small frames or for door signs. To ensure optimum protection, we recommend combining picture locks BS 1 and BS 3. Fuses can also be ordered.

Picture lock BS 4
This picture lock is an additional part to secure your frame effectively and conveniently to the wall. It can be combined with any frame and retrofitted at any time. The BS 4 is simply screwed to the wall and secures the frame with a rotating bolt that engages in the suspension hole. The lock can only be opened with a special key. This prevents unauthorized removal of the frame. Suspension with hook bolts is required. To determine the correct position of the BS 4 on the wall, a special drilling template is required, which can be added to the online store. For comprehensive protection, we recommend combining BS 4 with BS 1 or BS 1 R.

Protection against unauthorized opening
To protect framed works against unauthorized opening of the frame and removal of the picture, the overframe can be fixed to the base element with two variants. The picture locks BS1 and BS 1 R can be added quickly and easily when ordering the frame.
Eccentric lock
The eccentric lock is used specifically on PROTECT magnetic frame instead of a picture lock BS1 R and is part of the standard equipment of a PROTECT magnetic frame. The lock not only secures the frame against unauthorized opening: the eccentric locks attached to the back lock the picture frame by turning it with the PROTECT special key and ensure protection against humidity penetrating the inside of the frame. The special key for the eccentric lock is supplied with PROTECT magnetic frame.
