Flatness and insertion depth
Even contact pressure on the glass ensures proper flatness of flat pictures on the PAT-tested KapaFrame board that is part of the base element. Insert the glass directly on the paper or on a passe-partout to add more distance to the picture. The insertion depth from 0 to 23 millimetres is available without additional charge. Depending on the profile, combine it with the Halbe D5 insert frame.

Glass and UV protection
The frame can be equipped with any type of glass. For optimum colour rendition, use the Optiwhite float glass matt or glossy. The optical-interference anti-reflection glass Mirogard Plus has proven to be the best option for additional UV protection as it prevents pictures from ageing and changing in colour. Generally, the edges of the glass are cut in order to avoid any cuts or chipping.
Keeping artwork theft-proof
The frame can be securely fixed to the wall and protected against unauthorized opening. It can also be combined with HALBE picture safety devices.

Classic Magnetic Frame FAQ
The high-quality picture frames from HALBE are characterized by the unique magnetic frame principle. This means that the overframe is held firmly to the base element by magnets and can be removed by light pressure. You do not need any tools or other accessories for this. In Classic magnetic frame, flat paper works can thus be framed easily and in a flash from the front.
Like almost all HALBE magnetic frames, the CLASSIC can also be ordered with a solid wood overframe. Here, the practical magnetic frame principle is combined with the timeless look of a simple wooden frame. Of course, you have the free choice between different wood strips, natural or coloured.
Functionality based on principle
All HALBE magnetic frames consist of a basic element, glass and profile. The basic element is a dimensionally stable composite of galvanized sheet steel angular frame and pH-neutral hard foam board or KLUG corrugated cardboard (both PAT-tested). This composite also serves as a rear wall and support surface for pictures, passepartout and glass. The frame made of aluminium or wood adheres precisely to the base element by means of special magnetic strips in the profile.
