FROM CLASSIC TO CONSERVO

In contrast to CLASSIC, the CONSERVO magnetic frame features a special basic element with loosely inserted KLUG corrugated cardboard instead of hard foam board, height-adjustable wall spacers and suspension holes with levelling aid.

Artglass AR 70
The 3 millimeter thick museum glass offers excellent anti-reflective properties, unaltered color reproduction as well as very good contour sharpness and contrast, and 70% UV protection. The color of the residual reflection corresponds to that of Mirogard.
Artglass AR 92 with high UV protection
With a thickness of only 3 millimeters, this museum glass combines excellent anti-reflective properties, undistorted color reproduction and a UV protection of 92 percent. It is ideal for conservational framing. The color of the residual reflection corresponds to that of Mirogard plus.
Artglass AR99 Protect VSG with very high UV protection.
This shatterproof and only 4.4 millimeter thick laminated safety glass consists of two panes with an internal elastic and tear-resistant film. This prevents the glass from shattering into small pieces in the event of breakage. This is because large fragments adhere almost flat to it and thus remain in the frame. Thus, the protection of the work can be guaranteed. Long-lasting color fidelity of works of art is ensured by the high UV protection of approx. 99 percent. The color of the residual reflection corresponds to that of AR 70 and Mirogard Protect.
OPTIUM MUSEUM ACRYLIC®
This museum glass from Tru Vue is an acrylic glass and combines many positive properties. It is non-reflective, anti-static, shatterproof, scratch-resistant and provides over 99 percent protection against UV light. It is therefore the ideal solution for aesthetically demanding works of art that need to be conserved. Also suitable for very large formats.

Protection against unauthorized removal or theft
Whether out of curiosity or criminal energy - pictures in the museum must be protected from unauthorized access. The HALBE picture locks BS1R, BS4 and BS1 secure works and frames to the wall. The installation is as simple as the framing.
BACK PANEL WITHOUT CONCERNS
The rear wall of HALBE Conservo and HALBE Protect is made of acid-free and age-resistant corrugated cardboard from KLUG-Conservation. The back wall is loosely inserted in a metal compound, without additional gluing.

Not every room guarantees a consistently gentle climate. Especially in the lending business, fluctuating humidity becomes a stress factor for paper. The HALBE Protect magnetic frame protects passively - without complex technology - against changing relative humidity and ensures a constant microclimate of the work. For control purposes, the frame can be equipped with a modern data logger. This means that the agreed rental conditions can be checked constantly and from anywhere.
