HALBE wins prestigious German Brand Award 2022

Kirchen, July 5, 2022 - This year's winners of the German Brand Awards - one of the most important German brand awards - have been announced. Among 1,200 entries, HALBE-Rahmen prevailed in the discipline "Excellent Brands" and won in the category "Interior and Living" with the product film "Große Momente - einfach rahmen". The self-explanatory film conveys to the viewer the high quality, simplicity and fun of framing with the individually made magnetic frames with emotionality and creativity. The brand HALBE is considered among art connoisseurs and gallery owners for many years as quality market leader in all aspects of picture presentation. The film is to be used primarily for video ads on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. It perfectly supports HALBE in continuously increasing awareness among private users.

 

German Brand Award - honoring the strongest campaigns, concepts and strategies

With the German Brand Award(www.german-brand-award.com), the German Design Council honors personalities and companies that are pioneers in the world of brands. They honor exemplary brand management, sustainable campaigns and exceptional marketing projects that particularly stand out from the competition. The top-class jury had their hands full to select the winners in the two disciplines "Excellent Brands" and "Excellent in Brand Strategy and Creation" from among the 1,200 entries.

 

HALBE Product film - Winner "Excellent Brands

During the festive award ceremony, which was attended by around 700 guests from major German companies, agencies as well as the creative industry and trade press, the German Brand Institute Foundation awarded HALBE-Rahmen GmbH as WINNER in the category "Excellent Brands - Interior and Living" for its new product film. "In the participation in the German Brand Award 2022, we saw the opportunity to have our emotional product film to increase our awareness in the B2C segment neutrally evaluated," explains David Halbe, Managing Director of HALBE-Rahmen GmbH. "Through the win we see ourselves strengthened in it to have taken the correct strategy."

 

HALBE Magnetic frames - set quality standards worldwide

HALBE-Rahmen is a sympathetic family business from the Westerwald region, which has devoted its unrestricted attention to the framing of pictures since 1946. What initially began in a small workshop reached its temporary peak in 1973 with the development and later patenting of the magnetic frame principle. Since then, anyone can easily and professionally frame their pictures in an individual wooden or aluminum magnetic frame from the front. The first design award inspired the company to even more innovative spirit. Between 2007 and 2011, HALBE-Rahmen developed four more models.

Word quickly spread among professional users such as artists, photographers, gallery owners and museums about the high quality of the magnetic frames, and today they set standards worldwide. When they went live with one of the industry's first picture frame online stores in 2008, the company once again demonstrated visionary foresight.

 

Online store - one of the mainstays of sales

An important target group for HALBE-Rahmen are private customers, who primarily place their frame orders via the online store. Even though HALBE has made significant gains here in recent years thanks to strategic brand communication, the growth potential is still great. In recent years, the online store has been brought up to the latest technical standards and a picture frame configurator with photo upload and 3D view has been integrated to facilitate frame ordering for the "layman".

The basic idea of the 45-second film is to convey the high quality, simplicity and fun of framing life's most beautiful moments - without a lot of words. In doing so, the viewer is told about the magnetic frame principle as well as the emotional experience of the frame in a very creative way. One watches a group of friends, who frame many photos quickly in a good mood. With each picture framed, they carefully weigh the space on the wall. Only at the end does the viewer see the reason. A huge mosaic of the framed photos has been created on the wall - the symbol of great moments.

 

Goal: Growth in online business

The submitted film excellently conveys the USP of the magnetic frame principle and is a perfect complement to the marketing activities. "We will permanently further emotionalize the shopping experience as well as make the picture frame configurator even more convenient to enable the most intuitive and almost playful selection of the personal magnetic frame," explains David Halbe. "The new product film, which was created in cooperation with the agency Modulbüro GmbH & Co KG and punchin.pictures GmbH, is the ideal medium to awaken more desire for the topic of picture frames. We plan to use it to run corresponding brand awareness campaigns on social media."
