Wood is the most traditional material for picture framing. At just 13 mm wide, the wood 10 model is extremely popular for presentation in a natural and discreet frame. The choice of wood makes each picture frame unique.
Color: Natural walnut
Wood frames are as unique as a finger print. Every frame has its own structure and colour. Walnut is one of the more lively wood types.
Glass: Normal glass glossy
This glass type is a popular choice if your budget is limited and there are no special requirements in terms of colour reproduction, anti-reflection, UV or shatter protection. Normal glass is slightly green and the most basic of picture glass types.
Size: 210 x 210 mm
The 21 x 21 cm square is highly popular. It corresponds to a DIN A 4 format (210 x 297 mm), cut to a square.
Description
Framing and use
The HALBE Classic was the first picture frame to be developed for magnetic opening and closing. This means that flat works on paper can be inserted from the front. Without any slipping or tools. Whether drawing, photo, print or document - framing and changing is always quick and precise. The even glass surface printing directly on the picture or on a passepartout ensures that works of art lie perfectly flat. Any type of glass can be used. The best color rendering is guaranteed by glossy or matt white glass. Artglass AR 92 offers additional protection against UV rays and optical interference anti-reflective coating.
Appearance and dimensions
The discreet design is available in aluminum or solid wood - each in different colours - from white to natural walnut. For perfect harmony with walls or furniture.
From the RAL color spectrum, the picture frames are also available as RAL colour on request. There are 35 standard sizes available or individual picture frames made to measure from 130 x 130 mm to 1200 x 1400 mm. Larger formats up to 2000 x 3000 mm are also available on request.
Hanging and securing
For quick and secure hanging in landscape or portrait format, the magnetic frame has one or three hanging holes on all four sides at the back, depending on the size. This means it can be attached directly to the wall or to ropes at one or two points. To protect the wall and ensure air circulation, four felt dots in the corners keep the distance. On request, the dustproof picture frame can be combined with various HALBE picture locks - both to secure the frame to the wall and to prevent unauthorized opening.
