Wood is the most traditional material for picture framing. With a width of only 13 mm, the Wood 10 model is highly popular for picture display in a natural and subtle frame. Wood makes every frame unique.
Color: Natural oak
Oak is one of the most traditional wood types used for frames and interior design in general. Unchanged in colour the moulding is merely protected by a transparent varnish with raw wood effect.
Glass: Normal glass glossy
This glass type is a popular choice if your budget is limited and there are no special requirements in terms of colour reproduction, anti-reflection, UV or shatter protection. Normal glass is slightly green and the most basic of picture glass types.
Size: 1000 x 1400 mm
The largest HALBE norm format is exactly twice the size as the 700 x 1000 mm poster format. A frame format for outstanding presentations.

Description
Framing and Deployment
The HALBE Classic was developed as the first frame to open and close magnetically. Like this, flat works of paper can be inserted from the front, without shifting or tools. Drawings, photographs, prints or documents can be exchanged fast and precisely. The even contact pressure of the glass directly on the picture or passe-partout ensures an ideal flatness of the art. Any type of glass can be used. For optimum colour rendition use Optiwhite float glass matt or glossy. Mirogard Plus offers additional UV protection and optical-interference anti-reflection.
Look and Measures
The elegant design is available as aluminum or solid wood in a range of colours, from white to natural walnut. For perfect harmony with your walls and furniture.
On request, you can also have your frame produced in a colour from the RAL colour spectrum. We offer 40 standard formats or custom made frames from 130 x 130 mm to 1200 x 1400 mm. Larger order formats up to 2000 x 3000 mm on request.
Hanging and Safety
For fast and secure hanging in landscape or portrait format, there are one or three hanging holes at the back on all four sides of the frame, depending on the size. Like this, it has one or two points to attach it to the wall or on ropes. Four felt pads in the corners create a gap to protect the wall and for better air circulation. On request, the dustproof frame can be combined with different HALBE picture safety devices – to attach the frame to the wall and prevent any unauthorized opening.

Top Verarbeitung und einfache Handhabung.
Ich habe schon diverse Alurahmen von anderen (nicht allen) Herstellern gekauft, aber in Bezug auf Verarbeitung und Habung sind keine dabei, die mit Halbe Rahmen mithalten können.
Die Handhabung der Halbrahmen ist sehr gut. Bei anderen Rahmen, die sich in meinem Besitzt befinden muss man diverse Federklamern, Kunststoffklammern entfernen, um ein Bild auszutauschen. Ich habe sogar Rahmen, wo man einen Schraubendreher benötigt um ein Bild zu tauschen; da muss man den Rahmen halb auseinanderbauen.
Standard bei alle bisher gekauften Rahmen ist eine Rückwand aus Hartfaser mit einfachen, billig wirkenden Aufhängevorrichtungen oder gar keinen Aufhängevorrichtungen.
Der Halbe Rahmen verfügt über einen rundum laufenden L-Profilrahmen aus Metall mit integrierten Aufhängevorrichtungen. Hier habe ich keine Bedenken, dass da jemals was ausreisst.
Der Innenbereich des L-Rahmens ist durch eine sehr dicke Platte aus beidseitig kaschiertem Hartschaumstoff (vermute ich jetzt mal) ausgefüllt, auf dem nachher das Bild und Passepartout zu liegen kommen.
Auf diesem L-Rahmen sind Filze angebracht, die verhindern, dass der Rahmen an der Wand scheuert.
Das einzige was ich an meinen Halbe Alurahmen zu bemängeln habe: es gibt sie nicht im Farbton Bronze. Ansonsten hochzufrieden.
A critical customer says
Frames look very good, but the site doesn't make it easy to order.
The frames look very impressive, but getting a sample of anything (even just the passepartout sample) sent to Italy will cost 24.90 in shipping! That's not really encouraging new customers....
And I would second the critical comment on the configurator; it is set up as if we start from the frame size and then work backward to the art size we would put inside. So in order to use it I need to first take my image size, then calculate the passepartout size I would like (no automatic suggestion), and then calculate the appropriate frame size - and then do it all over again for a different size image....
